NS OPTIMUM USER MANAGER
The NS Optimum User Manager is the ideal way to control the install of users in a uniform manner.
USER FUNCTIONS
1 Create multiple users from csv or text files (100's users takes minutes rather then days).
2 Create all the users' resources simultaneously - home directories, shares and access permissions.
3 Install single users by merely typing them into the wizard.
4 Delete users on mass when they leave school (or if mistakes are made installing them!).
5 Installs users in Active Directory Organisational Units and legacy user groups applying relevant group policies.
SECURE ROAMING PROFILES
Your NS Optimum network is supplied with pre-configured Active Directory Organisational Units which allow you to assign
roaming Group Policies to groups or individuals. Users can be assigned policies that roam the network wherever they logon,
meaning the same simple desktop can be assigned regardless of the computer used. Total Cost of Ownership targets can be
achieved and surpassed by limiting access to the workstation's operating systems and thus reducing workstation downtime.
1 Allows the ability to define desktop and start menus on a per user or per group basis.
2 Prevents access to unwanted areas of the network on a per user and/or group basis.
3 Prevents the users from being able to tamper with the workstation operating system.
4 Prevents users from being able to modify workstation settings.
5 Allows you to control the users settings for the network, internet and resources without the users being able to change them.
DESKTOP WIZRD
Graphic utility which allows the administrator to add or remove program icons from user groups start menus and desktops.
1 Allows the administrator to rapidly and easily administer what programs are available to which groups.
2 Allows change of start menu easily so that you can change programs available to groups lesson by lesson or week by week.
