27th May 2011 Another acquisition by NS Optimum Following the recent acquisition of Pars Technology, NS Optimum, a leading independent education ICT solutions provider, has continued on its acquisition trail by purchasing the trade and assets of A2Z Computer Products Limited from liquidators, Baker Tilley. The acquisition of Pars Technology was the first example of management’s execution of a buy and build strategy and A2Z Computer Products fits nicely in with the company profile. The management believes that niche market purchases will further expand its business and strengthen its already robust position in the education ICT sector. NS Optimum Managing Director, Andrew Rutley, said, “This acquisition is another example of the commitment by NS Optimum to the education sector. Both Pars and A2Z had loyal customer bases and NS Optimum is in an excellent position to continue to support those customers. We have over 20 years experience in the IT sector and have specialist teams to ensure that customer needs are met.” NS Optimum is offering to provide service continuity and specific warranty support provided certain criteria are met and will be contacting all A2Z customers who have ongoing warranty contracts to discuss this individually. Any A2Z customers who wish to contact NS Optimum directly are advised to call 01926 880300 if they have any immediate queries. Tim Guy, Technical Director of NS Optimum, confirmed that “NS Optimum has vast experience in the support of PCs, laptops, servers and networks to education customers. We also have 15 years of install experience for audio visual products and we will do everything possible to help A2Z customers to ensure the continuity and robustness of their systems. We look forward to creating a partnership with all involved.” END |
